Dr. Joseph Kahn
Dr. Joseph Kahn is a professor in the Applied Physics Department. Dr. Kahn is extremely well known in the field of optical communications at Stanford, having literally written the book on differential Pulse Position Modulation, a technique for encoding information in optical signals. Kahn has advised the Optical Communications team on optical encoding.
